We are offering you the opportunity to join us as a technical support. The position is based in Nigeria.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager M/F to lead and oversee large-scale industrial construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector in Nigeria in Port Harcourt.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • manage end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to handover.
  • define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in alignment with client requirements and company objectives.
  • lead cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and HSE.
  • coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
  • identify and mitigate project risks; implement contingency plans as needed.
  • serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • provide regular reports on project progress, issues, and performance to senior management.
  • ensure adherence to contractual obligations and industry standards.
  • promote a strong safety culture and enforce HSE compliance at all project sites.

Profile Wanted

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with at least 8–10 years of project management experience in the Oil & Gas or industrial construction sector.
  • A proven experience in managing large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
  • A strong leadership and team management skills. Also a excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • A solid understanding of local and international HSE regulations and practices.
  • A recognised proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • A Willingness to travel and work on-site across project locations in Nigeria.
