A brace from victor Osimhen and goals from Akor Adams and Chidera Ejuke earned Nigeria a 4-1 win over Gabon to qualify the super Eagles for the final of the CAF world cup 2026 qualifiers.
Nigeria led through Akor Adams in the first half before a deflected Mario lemina effort took the game into extra time.
A goal from Sevilla’s Chidera Ejuke and a Victor Osimhen brace sealed the win for Nigeria. Nigeria would now face Dr. Congo on Sunday for a place in the intercontinental playoffs after the Congolese side defeated Cameroon in the other semi final.
