The Nigerian Army has officially commenced online applications for the 90 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for trades and non-tradesmen/women.
The online registration for the 91 Regular Recruits Intake will run between 30 March 2026 – 17 May 2026.
Applicants are encouraged to complete their registration within this period as late applications will not be accepted. Application Fee: Free of charge. Interested candidates are advised to apply early and follow the instructions on the official recruitment portal.
Basic Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the Nigerian Army 91 RRI 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Must possess a National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN)
- Name and date of birth must match across all documents
- Must be medically, physically and psychologically fit
- Must have no criminal record
- Must have at least four passes in WAEC, NECO or NABTEB including English Language
- Tradesmen and women must also possess relevant trade test or guild certificates
- Must present a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital or local government
- Must be between 18 and 22 years for non-tradesmen and women
- Must not be more than 26 years for tradesmen and women
- Must meet the minimum height requirement:
- 1.68 metres for males
- 1.65 metres for females
- Must apply using state of origin
- Must present a certificate of state of origin
Applicants should take note of the following:
- The application is free of charge
- Multiple applications will lead to disqualification
- Do not pay anyone for recruitment assistance
- All documents will be verified, and fake documents will lead to prosecution
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening at designated centres
- Candidates must not belong to any cult or secret society
- Tattoos and body inscriptions are not allowed
- No special screening centres will be created

- Create an Account: Register using a functional email address as your username.
- Complete Your Application:

- Submit the form and print a copy for reference.
- Download, print, and complete the Guarantor Form appropriately.
Ensure all details are accurate before final submission.
