About Matthew Adefila
Mr. Adefila is a highly experienced chartered accountant (FCA or equivalent) with over 30 years in the field. He rose within the ranks to become the Managing Director of Capital Trust Brokers, where he has served for decades.
Mr. Adefila is a graduate of the University of Lagos (1982), where he bagged a BSc (Hons) in accounting.

He joined Capital Trust Brokers Limited, where he rose to become Managing Director. He has served there for decades and is also described as a widely experienced insurance broker.
He Joined the NCR Nigeria board as a Non-Executive Director (sometimes referenced as Executive Director in older records) effective 27 January 2022, alongside Chief Bisade Biobaku. He has been re-elected in subsequent AGMs.
He also previously served as chairman of the Board Audit, Finance and Risk Management Committee (or involved as a financial expert on the Audit Committee). He holds a direct shareholding of 1,283,650 shares (approximately 1.19%) as of end-2024.
