For IMTO rates, which facilitate remittances and are tracked via platforms like Lemfi and Remitly, the Naira held steady against the US Dollar at N1,376 per dollar on March 3, 2026, up 0.15% or N2.05 from N1,373.95 on March 2, 2026. However, it depreciated against other major currencies: it fell to N1,835 per pound against the British Pounds, a 0.38% drop or N6.97 loss from N1,841.98.
Against the Euro, it weakened to N1,610 per euro, down 0.41% or N6.66 from N1,616.66; and against the Canadian Dollar, it slipped marginally to N1,007 per CAD, a 0.01% decrease or N0.07 loss from N1,007.07.

External Reserves Strengthen
