Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, in partnership with SunTrust Atlantic Energies, has announced its 2026/2027 JV Secondary School and University Scholarship Award Scheme, offering financial support to Nigerian students, particularly those from host communities and Delta State.
The programme is part of the company’s long-standing investment in human capital development, designed to promote academic excellence and support education across its operational areas.
Scholarship Categories
1. Secondary School Community Award (Host Communities Only)
Open to JSS1 and JSS2 students
Must provide:
Admission letter to a Nigerian secondary school
Primary school or JSS1 result
Birth certificate
Community identification letter
2. University Community Award (Host Communities Only)
Open to 100 and 200-level students
Requirements:
Minimum 5 credits in SSCE (including English & Mathematics)
JAMB/UTME admission
University ID card
Community identification letter
3. University Merit Award (Delta State Indigenes Only)
Open to 200-level students
Requirements:
Minimum CGPA of 3.5
5 SSCE credits (including English & Mathematics)
University admission documents
LGA identification letter
