Job Requirements
Exceptional geologists, from Senior/Lead Geologists to a Chief Geologist (Future Chief Mining Officer), who can combine technical excellence with commercial insight and help convert exploration success into sustainable mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and coordinate multi-site exploration and resource development programmes
• Translate geological findings into commercially meaningful narratives for investors and partners
• Ensure regulatory compliance within Nigeria’s mining framework
• Build, mentor, and scale high-performing geological teams
• Contribute to corporate strategy, investment readiness, and long-term growth
Requirements
• BSc/MSc in Geology or Mining Engineering
• 7–10+ years (Senior/Lead) or 10+ years (Chief) of commercial mining experience in Nigeria
• Strong proficiency in geological modelling, exploration tools, and reporting
• Proven ability to blend technical depth with business acumen
• Leadership ambition and entrepreneurial mindset
