McKinsey & Company is hiring a senior delivery manager based in Lagos, Nigeria as part of Orphoz, working closely and in partnership with client’s senior management and their specialist departments.
Job Description
As a Senior Delivery Manager you will lead on business transformation projects including restructuring execution, turnaround, execution, operational excellence, strategic operations, operational strategy, operational consulting transformation and M&A post merger implementation and digital transformation projects.
You will work at a deep level across our clients’ businesses, working in teams to build the capabilities, systems and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and then ensure those results will be sustained. You will also lead, coach, and motivate your team of consultants and client employees in each project.
In addition you will act as a subject matter expert, combining experience with strong problem-solving abilities to derive business insights and solid recommendations for clients. Another part of your impact is to contribute to the implementation of our delivery groups growth strategy, and you will take responsibility on the development of the firm and grow in a stimulating and human environment where quality of life at work is important.

Qualifications and Skill Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in financial or similar field with strong record of academic achievement
- 9+ years of professional experience including some coming from a consulting environment with high problem solving ability and project management delivery
- 3+ years experience delivering and execution large scale business transformation projects including: restructuring, turnaround, operational excellence, strategic operations, operational strategy, operational consulting transformation and M&A PMI (post merger implementation) or digital transformation projects
- Private sector experience Oil and Gas, Financial Services Banking, Insurance or Telecommunications is highly desirable
- Experience developing business unit strategy and leading large-scale business change programs, preferably while establishing strong relationships with senior clients
- Experience leading people and building teams, empowering team members to achieve impact
- You enjoy the flexibility and agility that is required in a consulting environment
- Experienced in conducting workshops, thought leadership and coaching sessions
