The name of Ayima Lott-Jonathan, the second wife of Ex-President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, did not ring much of a bell until this weekend when she bagged a Doctorate Degree in Education from Walden University in America.
Ayima Lott-Jonathan holds a Law degree from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUST), She is the daughter of Chief F.D. Lott, a renowned lawyer and former Attorney-General of Bayelsa State. She is also the cousin of Diezani Allison-Madueke, the former Minister of Petroleum under Goodluck Jonathan, and the two are said to be very close.
Sources disclose that Lott Jonathan has been married to the former President even before he made his foray into politics and has two sons for him. She relocated to the United States of America with her two sons after Jonathan became Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State and omnly came back to Nigeria shortly after Jonathan became President.
