Gabon has launched a free electronic tourist visa (e-Visa) for foreign visitors, available from July 1 to September 30, 2025 to promote tourism and modernize its entry procedures.

Gabon’s e-visa

The new initiative is part of the second edition of Gabon’s “Caravane Touristique” (Tourist Caravan), which runs from July 15 to September 15, 2025. The e-Visa will be processed entirely online and issued within 48 hours to modernize the entry process for international visitors, ensure secure and efficient tourist management, and promote Gabon’s cultural and natural heritage.

How to Apply for Gabon’s Tourist e-visa

  1. Create an account by entering your details and uploading your passport and a photo.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Complete the e-Visa application form, selecting a registered hotel, tour operator, or host.
  4. Submit the application, which must be confirmed by the host.
  5. Validate the application for final processing.

The Gabonese Ministry of the Interior has encouraged applicants, hotels, tour operators, and individual hosts to register on the platform to ensure smooth and secure processing.
