The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released the official list of physical verification centres for the 2025 recruitment exercise. Shortlisted candidates will attend physical screening and document verification between Monday, December 1, and Wednesday, December 3.
The board emphasized that the physical verification phase is critical, as it authenticates applicants’ identities, documents, and physical fitness before candidates advance to the final stage of selection.
This ensures only qualified candidates progress, maintaining integrity and transparency in the recruitment process.
CDCFIB-approved centres span all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, covering the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).

- Lagos has three centres, including Correctional Training College, Kirikiri, Apapa; NIS Zonal Headquarters, Ikeja; and Federal Fire Service Training School, Ojuelegba.
- The FCT hosts four centres: Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Hall (NCoS HQ), Mohammad Babandede Conference Hall (NIS HQ), FFS FCT Command, Kubwa, and Dr Ade Abolurin Auditorium (NSCDC HQ).
Candidates are advised to attend their respective centres as scheduled and ensure all documents and physical requirements are complete. The CDCFIB reiterates that this phase is crucial for confirming eligibility and fitness for service.
