Frank Donga: From Nollywood to Canadian Government Role

Kunle Idowu, popularly known as Frank Donga, is a veteran in the Nigerian movie industry. His role in The Interview, a skit series, was notable as he portrayed a bumbling yet relatable job seeker. The comedian turned actor also starred in The Wedding Party as Harrison, The Boot, and the popular sitcom Flatmates.

Things are different now, as these days he calls the shots as a Multimedia Communications Specialist in the Ministry of Agriculture for the Government of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Strong Educational  Background

Frank Donga has a strong educational background beyond his comic roles in movies. He holds a degree in Agricultural Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University. In addition, he has a Master’s degree in Animal Genetics from the University of Ibadan, Oyo state.

Canadian adventure

Since Frank Donga gradually disappeared off our screens, the Nollywood actor and content creator has embarked on a new trajectory in faraway Canada. He is leveraging on his Agricultural background and communication abilities to forge a new path.

He recently announced he has taken up a role as a Multimedia Communications Specialist. It is in the Ministry of Agriculture for the Government of Saskatchewan, Canada. In his new role, he is involved in crafting digital media content—videos, photos, and written copy. This aims to bridge the gap between Saskatchewan’s agricultural policies and its diverse rural and urban communities.
