Paris Saint-Germain and France winger Ousmane Dembele has been voted FIFA’s Men’s Player of the Year, capping a remarkable campaign that saw him dominate both domestically and in Europe.

The 28-year-old received the honour at Tuesday’s FIFA Best awards ceremony in Qatar, adding to the Ballon d’Or he claimed earlier this year.

Dembele’s influence was pivotal as PSG swept four major trophies during the 2024–25 season, including the club’s long-awaited first UEFA Champions League title.

A summer 2023 arrival from Barcelona, the former Borussia Dortmund forward enjoyed the most productive season of his career under coach Luis Enrique.

He recorded 51 combined goals and assists across 53 appearances, becoming the creative heartbeat of PSG’s attack.

Dembele edged out strong competition for the individual accolade, finishing ahead of Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe in the final voting.
