This is a job opening for an Architect at Dangote Industries Limited in Obajana, Nigeria. The architect will be responsible for designing and managing the architectural parts of new construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Planning: Create and present architectural designs and plans for buildings and facilities.
- Project Oversight: Work with project managers to set timelines, oversee construction to ensure plans are followed, and conduct site assessments.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineers, other architects, and construction teams to integrate aesthetic and functional designs.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet legal and regulatory requirements, including building codes and zoning laws.
- Technical Support: Review and approve construction documents, provide technical guidance, and stay updated on industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field. Professional licensure or certification is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in architectural software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and work well with a team.
