MTN Nigeria has officially launched Next Afrobeats Star (NAS), a bold new music reality competition created to discover and elevate the next generation of Afrobeats talent.
This past weekend, the announcement was made at a media launch held at the MTN Rooftop Events Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos. The event was attended by MTN executives, industry stakeholders, music partners, and press members.
MTN’s Chief Marketing Officer, Onyinye Ikenna-Emeka, said NAS is more than a show, it’s a platform where “raw talent meets real opportunity.” She revealed that the winner will walk away with a $100,000 music deal, while four finalists will also receive deals ranging from $25,000 to $75,000.
