Job Description
The Interim People Advisor will support the Lead People Advisor, Country Directors, and business unit teams by delivering professional HR guidance across the employee lifecycle.
The role focuses on ensuring that HR practices remain compliant with global policies while aligning with local labour regulations and organizational culture.
The advisor will also help managers resolve people-related challenges and improve employee experience across the organization.
HR Advisory
- Provide guidance to managers on the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit.
- Apply HR best practices to resolve complex workforce issues.
Employee Relations
- Manage discipline and conduct issues, including cases that may lead to dismissal.
- Support conflict resolution processes and workplace grievance handling.
Internal Stakeholder Support
- Work closely with internal teams and leadership to understand business needs.
- Deliver HR services that support operational efficiency and employee engagement.
Service Improvement
- Provide HR advice informed by local labour laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Recommend improvements that strengthen organizational performance and reduce risks.
Change Management
- Support implementation of regional or global change projects involving workforce restructuring or transformation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in an HR advisory or generalist People function role.
- Experience working across multiple countries or within a large, complex organization.
Professional Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership engagement skills.
- Experience handling complex employee relations cases.
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of employment and labour law.
- Understanding of social security and tax regulations affecting private sector employees.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR certification such as CIPD, MSc, or MA in Human Resources or related field.
