Barcelona Ease Past Guadalajara to Reach Copa del Rey Last 16

Barcelona sealed a comfortable 2–0 away victory over Guadalajara on Tuesday night to book their place in the Copa del Rey round of 16.

After a goalless first half marked by a few yellow cards, the visitors took control after the break.

Andreas Christensen broke the deadlock in the 77th minute, finishing off a well-worked move to put Barça ahead.

The Catalans wrapped up the win late on when Marcus Rashford struck in the 90th minute, ensuring there was no way back for the hosts.

Despite several substitutions and a spirited effort from Guadalajara, Barcelona’s quality told in the second half as they calmly saw out the game to advance in the competition.
