Role Overview
The Recruiter will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, partnering with hiring managers to identify, attract, assess, and hire high-quality candidates in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple roles (graduate, junior, mid-level, and senior positions).
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and role requirements.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, campus hiring, and other channels.
- Screen CVs, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate interview processes.
- Manage candidate communication and ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Support offer management, salary discussions, and onboarding coordination.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal hiring processes and documentation standards.
Requirements
- 3–5 years experience in recruitment or talent acquisition (in-house or agency).
- Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
- Experience hiring for fintech, tech, sales, or operations roles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple roles simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ATS and recruitment tools.
Payroll Specialist
Opay is also seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processing and ensure accurate, timely salary payments in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills, payroll systems experience, and a solid understanding of local payroll regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees.
- Ensure correct computation of salaries, deductions, allowances, bonuses, and statutory payments.
- Maintain and update payroll records, employee data, and salary changes.
- Ensure compliance with tax, pension, NHF, and other statutory regulations.
- Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Respond to employee payroll-related queries professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Prepare payroll reports for management and audits.
- Support payroll system improvements and process optimization.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory regulations.
- Experience using payroll systems and strong Excel skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in fintech, banking, or multinational organizations.
- Exposure to large or nationwide payrolls.
