African Collaborations Group (ACG) is recruiting a Chief Executive Officer to lead a newly mandated infrastructure origination and collaboration platform focused on Africa.
This is a foundational, platform-building CEO role. It is not an advisory or project delivery position.
The Opportunity
ACG holds an exclusive mandate from a major African country to originate, structure, and take to bankability a flagship sport and entertainment district. The project will move from concept through feasibility, structuring, and financial close, and will serve as the anchor for a scalable continental infrastructure platform.
The appointed CEO will lead this first landmark transaction while building the systems, partnerships, and commercial models required to replicate similar developments across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
Lead origination of a flagship infrastructure project from concept to bankability and financial close
Establish ACG as a leading infrastructure origination and collaboration platform in Africa
Structure complex transactions with governments, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and private capital
Shape commercial strategy, SPV structuring, and investor engagement
Build and lead a lean, high-impact core team and global consortium of partners
Candidate Profile
Senior leadership experience in early-stage infrastructure development, PPPs, sovereign finance, or development finance
Proven track record originating and structuring complex projects in Africa or comparable emerging markets
Strong commercial judgment and political fluency
Demonstrated experience building platforms from concept to implementation
Entrepreneurial mindset with appetite for long-term value creation
Experience in sport and entertainment infrastructure is an advantage, but not essential
