1st Interview (Competency based): March 24, 2026
2nd Interview (Personality based): March 25, 2026
Length of service: One-year fixed-term contract renewable after evaluation (After successful completion of the Probationary Period)
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the implementation and overall coordination of bilateral and multilateral development cooperation projects, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with government counterparts, implementing partners, and other key stakeholders.
Assist in the planning and coordination of feasibility studies and in-depth surveys for the development of new projects.
Contribute to the preparation of various Project Concept Papers and other key project documents, and perform additional project management-related tasks as required.
Management of Human Resource Development (Fellowship) Programs: Support the implementation of various fellowship programs including but not limited to Invitational training, country-specific training, scholarship (Masters & Doctorate) programs and other related activities. Support the management of KOICA’s Alumni Association: the South Korean International Cooperation Association of Nigeria (SKICAN) activities in Nigeria.
Public Relations Management: Management of KOICA Nigeria Office social media platforms, media relations, and press publications.
Performance of Administrative Tasks: Drafting of meeting minutes, Sector specific research reports, Speeches for Country Director, Official letters etc. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Country Director.
Qualifications
1. All of the following qualifications are required:
Bachelor’s degree in International development, International relations, public administration or related field + 3 years or more project experience in KOICA’s priority sectors of Education, Health, Governance, Peace, Agriculture, Rural Development and Science, Technology, Innovation (STI)
OR
Master’s degree or higher in the above fields + 2 years or more project experience
OR
Other non-related Bachelor’s degree: 5 years or more project experience in the priority sectors.

2. High level of computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
3. Candidates possessing the following qualifications are desirable:
Possession of PRINCE2 Foundation, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or PMP certification.
Candidates working with Korean government-funded projects/programs
Demonstrated experience in handling public relations activities
Fellowship experience either as a beneficiary or in a coordination/management role.

Communication: Speaks and writes clearly and effectively in English. Interprets public policies and roles of each stakeholder. Interacts appropriately with a variety of people.
