The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced a ₦20 million prize for the local government area (LGA) that records the highest number of newly registered voters in the ongoing voter registration exercise, according to The Gazelle News.
The announcement was made by the party’s state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, on Tuesday, 21 October 2025, during the APC Stakeholders’ Forum held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos.
Ojelabi emphasized that the party has made all necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth registration process and urged party members to actively mobilize residents to register.

In addition to the LGA prize, he also revealed that the ward with the highest number of newly registered voters will be awarded a ₦5 million cash prize.
He further stated that the party is fully committed to mobilizing voters to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), leaving no stone unturned in the process.
