ICEDT Consult (makers of AiTeacha) is looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to lead marketing function and drive revenue growth, user acquisition, and brand visibility within the EdTech sector.
AiTeacha is Africa’s first AI-powered education platform to simplify teaching tasks, reduce teacher burnout by up to 80%, and personalise learning for all students. We leverage AI to bridge the educational gap and ensure no student is left behind, even in low-resource settings.

Role Overview
The Head of Marketing will own AI Teacha’s growth efforts, overseeing brand visibility, customer acquisition, and community engagement across Nigeria and Africa. This is an in-person, leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and is excited to drive real impact in education.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute growth-focused marketing plans to drive user acquisition and brand awareness.
Lead multi-channel marketing efforts including digital campaigns, events, influencer partnerships, and grassroots engagement.
Manage marketing budget with focus on efficiency and high ROI.
Drive social media campaigns focused on sign-ups and paid conversions
Develop data-driven growth and digital marketing strategies
Work closely with leadership to scale revenue and impact
Brand Development & Content:
Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.
Supervise content creation for social media, email, website, and other marketing materials.
Build a strong, trusted, and relatable brand for AI Teacha across target markets.
User Acquisition & Community Engagement:
Drive user acquisition for teachers, schools, and educational partners.
Collaborate with ambassadors, influencers, and school networks to scale organically.
Plan and coordinate demos, activations, and educational events.
Data & Insights:
Monitor key growth metrics: user sign-ups, engagement, retention, and conversion rates.
Analyze marketing performance and provide actionable insights to improve results.
Conduct market research to understand education trends and user needs.
Requirements:
Minimum of 4-5 years experience in Marketing and other related fields with, proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (social media, email marketing, basic analytics).
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Previous experience in EdTech, technology startups, or education is an advantage.
Passion for innovation, education, and improving learning outcomes in Africa.
Must be available for full-time, in-person work at our Ikorodu Lagos office.
