AFC Infrastructure Climate Resilience Fund

AFC Capital Partners (ACP) invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified individual consultants to provide targeted fundraising advisory services in support of the Infrastructure Climate Resilience Fund (ICRF) Nigeria Vehicle.

The objective of this engagement is to mobilize domestic institutional capital, particularly from Nigerian Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs), and to strengthen investor alignment within the applicable regulatory framework.

𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸

The selected individual consultant will support ACP in advancing capital commitments to the ICRF Nigeria Vehicle through the following core activities:

𝟭. 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

• Identify, originate, and actively engage prospective Nigerian institutional investors.

• Manage investor outreach and maintain structured follow-up communications throughout the fundraising cycle.

𝟮. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 & 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

• Provide guidance on fund positioning, structuring considerations, and alignment with Nigerian regulatory and pension investment frameworks.

• Offer market intelligence and investor feedback to refine fundraising strategy.

𝟯. 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 & 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

• Support the refinement of investor-facing materials, including presentations and information memoranda.

• Assist in coordinating investor meetings, roadshows, and related engagements.

𝟰. 𝗗𝘂𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 & 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

• Support investor due diligence processes, coordinate information requests, and assist through commitment and closing stages. The consultant will provide ongoing advisory and coordination support reasonably required to advance and conclude investor commitments.

Interested individual consultants (not firms) are requested to submit:

𝟭. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗩 demonstrating relevant experience in fundraising, institutional investor engagement, or pension ecosystem advisory in Nigeria.

𝟮. 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 outlining comparable mandates or capital mobilization engagements.

𝟯. 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 (𝗺𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝟮 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀) describing proposed strategy for investor origination and engagement.

4. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲, where applicable.
