Nigerian attacker Ademola Lookman registered a goal and an assist on his Atletico Madrid debut in their 5-0 Copa Del Rey win at Real Betis.
The attacker who played 79 minutes in his first game since completing is move from Atalanta in a €40 million deal registered a goal in the first half and an assist to Antoine Griezmann in the game.
Atletico Madrid had not scored 5 goals in a game since their 5-2 win against Real Madrid on 27th September, 2025.
Athletico Madrid now join holders Barcelona, 2024 winners Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad in the semi-finals of the cup competition.
