United Capital Plc Reports N28.15 billion Profit For 2025

The company has proposed a final dividend of N0.70 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each

United Capital Plc (UCAP), a leading investment banking group in Nigeria, has released its audited financial results for the year ended December 31, 2025, demonstrating significant growth across key metrics for both the Group and the Company.

The Group’s gross earnings rose to N58.55 billion in 2025 from N43.43 billion in 2024, marking a substantial increase. Profit before tax for the Group climbed to N41.18 billion from N30.10 billion, while profit for the year reached N28.15 billion, up from N24.10 billion. After accounting for taxation of N13.04 billion, the Group’s total comprehensive income stood at N30.97 billion.

For the Company, gross earnings increased to N27.77 billion from N22.86 billion. Profit before tax was N23.96 billion, compared to N19.28 billion in 2024, with profit for the year at N20.10 billion, up from N17.23 billion. Earnings per share (EPS) for the Group improved to 156 kobo from 134 kobo, while the Company’s EPS rose to 112 kobo from 96 kobo.

Proposed Dividend

The company has proposed a final dividend of N0.70 per ordinary share of 50 kobo each, amounting to N12.6 billion, subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting. This dividend will be paid to shareholders on the Register of Members as of April 3, 2026, and is subject to appropriate withholding tax.
