Transnational Corporation Plc (Transcorp) has proposed a final dividend of N1.60 per ordinary share for the financial year ended December 31, 2025.
When added to the interim dividend of 40 kobo per share already paid on August 19, 2025, the total payout for the year rises to N2.00 per ordinary share. The final dividend is subject to approval by shareholders at the upcoming Annual General Meeting and will be paid after deduction of appropriate withholding tax.
Qualification Period
Shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members as at the close of business on Friday, May 1, 2026 will qualify for the payment. The register will be closed from Monday, May 4, 2026, to Friday, May 8, 2026 (both days inclusive).
Dividend payment is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2026 and will be made electronically to all shareholders who have completed e-dividend registration and provided their bank account details to the Registrar.
The company urged shareholders yet to register for e-dividend to visit the NIBSS Self-service Portal or download the mandate form from the Registrar’s website at www.africaprudential.com, complete it, and submit to Africa Prudential Plc or their respective banks.
Shareholders with unclaimed dividend warrants or share certificates were also advised to complete e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar immediately.
The company’s Annual General Meeting is scheduled to hold on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, 1 Aguiyi Ironsi Street, Maitama, Abuja.
