AXA Mansard forecasts robust profitability for Q3 2025, with net income of ₦13.4 billion on the back of strong investment income and disciplined cost management.
AXA Mansard Insurance Plc has submitted its Q3 2025 earnings forecast to the Nigerian Exchange Group, projecting a profit after tax of ₦13.43 billion. The insurer anticipates significant profitability driven by robust investment and other income, despite challenges from reinsurance and operating expenses.
According to the forecast, insurance revenue is projected at ₦124.01 billion, while insurance service expenses and reinsurance costs will jointly reduce this figure by ₦108.85 billion. This results in a positive insurance service result of ₦15.16 billion.

The major contributor to profitability, however, is the expected net investment and other income of ₦18.14 billion, underscoring AXA Mansard’s effective asset management strategy. Operating expenses are forecast at ₦16.59 billion, leaving a pre-tax profit of ₦15.77 billion. After a projected tax payment of ₦2.34 billion, the company expects to report a net profit of ₦13.43 billion.
On the cash flow side, AXA Mansard projects operating cash flows of ₦11.16 billion. However, outflows from financing and investing activities, amounting to ₦4.32 billion and ₦6.90 billion, respectively, will result in a modest net decrease of ₦60.89 million in cash and cash equivalents. The company expects to close Q3 2025 with ₦20.0 billion in cash balances.
The forecast reflects continued financial resilience and disciplined execution in a volatile macroeconomic environment.
