2Baba, Natasha Osawuru Clash On Daddy Freeze Livestream Amid Arrest Controversy

Afrobeats legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia and his wife, Edo lawmaker Hon. Natasha Osawuru, have been thrust back into the spotlight after a heated exchange between the couple was captured during a livestream hosted by media personality Daddy Freeze, days after reports of 2Baba’s alleged arrest in the United Kingdom circulated in social media.

The incident occurred during one of Daddy Freeze’s regular Instagram broadcasts analysing the controversy around 2Baba’s private life, including the legality of Natasha’s adoption of the “Idibia” surname and the collapse of his marriage to actress Annie Idibia.

Heated Argument

In the viral livestream, 2Baba joined the session, and moments later raised voices were heard off camera with 2Baba repeatedly telling Natasha to shut up.

In the clip, 2Baba can also be heard pointedly telling members of his former management to “shut up,” after they were mentioned in connection with the ongoing drama.

Earlier Arrest Claims

The livestream drama comes on the heels of social media claims that 2Baba was recently arrested in the UK following an alleged domestic dispute involving Natasha.

Viral footage appeared to show the musician in handcuffs being led away by officers, The singer however released a video stating the arrest was unconnected to his domestic affairs noting it was due to a show booking mix-up.

Daddy Freeze has repeatedly revisited both the alleged UK arrest and the surname controversy on his platforms, questioning the legality and morality of Natasha using “Idibia” and debating whether Annie Idibia has grounds to sue. His sessions have drawn thousands of live viewers, fuelling a fierce online divide between supporters of Annie, Natasha and 2Baba.

As at the time of filing this report, none of the parties : 2Baba, Hon. Natasha Osawuru  has issued a detailed new statement addressing the explosive Daddy Freeze livestream.
