Vitafoam Nigeria Plc has reported a profit after tax of ₦9.37 billion for the nine months ending June 30, 2025, reversing a ₦2.88 billion loss from the previous year, according to its unaudited financials.
The turnaround was driven by a 40% revenue increase to ₦84.87 billion from ₦60.49 billion, propelled by strong demand across its product lines. Gross profit rose 36% to ₦28.84 billion, while operating profit surged to ₦18.48 billion from ₦806.97 million, aided by cost efficiencies and other income gains.
Administrative expenses decreased significantly to ₦8.19 billion from ₦18.66 billion, reflecting disciplined cost management. However, finance costs increased to ₦4.87 billion from ₦3.89 billion, which tempered operational gains.

Profit before tax reached ₦13.82 billion, a significant improvement from a ₦2.08 billion loss in 2024. Earnings per share recovered to 697 kobo, compared to a negative 263 kobo last year.
Despite a ₦246.75 million foreign exchange translation loss, total comprehensive income amounted to ₦9.13 billion. Vitafoam’s strong recovery highlights resilient sales growth, improved cost controls, and effective operational strategies.
