UBA Supports SMEs at the 33rd Lagos International Trade Fair

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) organized the 33rd edition of the Lagos International Trade Fair from November 1st to November 10th, 2019. The trade fair attracted hundreds of companies from Nigeria, Africa and Asia, from SMEs to multinational firms. United Bank for Africa (UBA), the headline sponsor of the Trade Fair, organised a workshop, Financing for SMEs, at which the bank’s officials shared insights on how SMEs could access loans to expand their operations. Babatunde Ajayi, Group Executive, Transformation and Resources, UBA Plc, led the staff in fielding participants’ questions. The SMEs at the fair showed particular interest in information on securing single-digit loans without collateral. The UBA team also shared useful information about financing and growth for startups.
