Role Overview:

TotalEnergies is seeking an experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Superintendent to lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of excellence in health and environmental standards. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with company policies and regulatory frameworks in all operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures for operations.
  • Lead risk assessment initiatives and ensure the effective management of safety risks.
  • Conduct HSE inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations.
  • Promote a safety-first culture through training, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning and drills.
  • Report HSE performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in HSE management in the energy, oil, or gas sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Leadership and communication skills to inspire and engage diverse teams.
  • Certification in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
  • Experience with emergency response planning and incident investigation.
