Job Description

Are you a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the Oil & Gas sector? Do you thrive on driving business growth and building strong customer relationships?

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to join our team at Sensia. This pivotal role focuses on the Sub-Saharan Africa region, with a primary emphasis on the Nigerian market. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, engaging with established accounts, and driving new opportunities within the Automation and Measurement Solutions Business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The Territory Manager Role is responsible for Automation and Measurement Solutions Business Sales in Sub-Saharan Africa with a specific focus on the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • The Territory Manager Role is responsible for promoting our Process Automation Solution, Digital Oil Field Solution, and Measurement Products directly to the End User and EPC, working closely with the Channel Manager in the South Europe Region
  • He/she supports and drives the business and its strategic direction, working closely with the Segment Manager, Proposal, and Business Unit engineering teams.
  • He/she is also responsible for account management, business development, and project pursuit activities for the allocated countries
  • He/she is responsible for managing and driving the development of the opportunity funnel and front log while ensuring a qualified solutions sales cycle.
  • He/she acts as a commercial & technical application front end for Sensia’s Solutions portfolio in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • He / She supports the Operation team in negotiating variation orders (>150KUSD)
  • He/she supports Local Sales activities to identify and close specific projects as part of the larger project pursuit team
  • Applying the Win Strategy Process and accessing the necessary resources within the Proposals and Business Unit Engineering Teams, he/she will increase the ease of doing business for Sensia Solution pre-sales activities and order hit rate.

The Individual

  • Engineering degree (Automation, Petroleum, and Mechanical, Electrical etc.) – or similar qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes automation and applications within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Have proven sales experience in a technology-based, project delivery organization.
  • Showcase a proven ability to create application concepts and solutions, adding value in pre-sales activities.
  • Exhibit a track record of achieving results and meeting sales targets.
  • Ability to acquire new business within existing and new customer accounts.
  • The candidate needs to be based in Nigeria with a willingness to travel extensively within the designated region.
  • Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with the clients.
