This disclaimer aligns with NNPC’s Transparency, Accountability, and Performance Excellence (TAPE) agenda, as it combats misinformation following similar scams debunked by Africa Check in April 2024. As Nigeria’s state-owned oil company, transformed into a limited liability entity in 2022 under the Petroleum Industry Act, NNPC emphasizes merit-based hiring amid its ranking as one of Nigeria’s top workplaces in 2023, per LinkedIn.
