The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has introduced a new digital portal designed to streamline drug integrity testing and the issuance of visa clearance certificates for Nigerians.

The platform allows individuals to schedule drug tests, make payments, and receive ndleacertificates electronically.

According to NDLEA spokesperson Femi Babafemi, the system aims to enhance efficiency, reduce physical interactions, and curb fraudulent practices associated with manual processes.

Applicants can now complete the entire procedure, from booking appointments to obtaining results without visiting NDLEA offices.

The portal supports visa applications for international travel, education, and employment, where drug-free certification is often required.

NDLEA Chairman Mohamed Buba Marwa emphasized that the initiative aligns with global best practices for transparency and accessibility in drug control measures.

He urged the public to utilize the official website and avoid intermediaries to prevent exploitation.

The agency has assured users of data security and prompt service delivery through the automated system.

This development is part of broader efforts to modernize operations and improve public service in Nigeria’s anti-narcotics framework.
