Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) announced on Tuesday the appointment of Mr. Andy Odeh as Chief Corporate Communications Officer, alongside Mrs. Morenike Adewunmi as Chief Relations Officer.

The new NNPC communications chief spent twenty-six distinguished years at Nigeria LNG (NLNG), where he developed comprehensive expertise across multiple operational areas. His progressive leadership roles included Community Relations and Development, Business Logistics and Services, Information Management and Technology, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, and Government Relations and Regulatory Compliance.
Odeh’s career highlights include successfully managing NLNG’s complete rebranding initiative, demonstrating his ability to handle complex corporate transformation projects. He implemented one of Nigeria’s most effective micro-credit schemes for host communities, showcasing his understanding of community engagement and sustainable development practices.
The communications veteran’s educational foundation includes degrees from prestigious institutions, including the University of Jos, University of Lagos, INSEAD Business School, and the Nigeria Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies.
His establishment of the NLNG Prize for Energy Reporting reflects his commitment to advancing professional journalism standards in Nigeria’s energy sector.
