FC Barcelona delivered a commanding performance on Saturday evening, dismantling Athletic Bilbao 4-0 in LaLiga Round 13 at the just renovated Spotify Camp nou

The match, played in front of a noticeably reduced crowd due to access restrictions, saw Hansi Flick’s side in ruthless form from the opening minutes.

Robert Lewandowski needed just four minutes to open the scoring, calmly slotting home after a swift Barcelona move to give the hosts an early lead.

The Polish striker was at the heart of everything, and by the end of the first half, Barcelona had doubled their advantage when Ferran Torres finished off a well-worked team goal, with Lamine Yamal credited with the assist in the third minute of added time.

The second half belonged to the youngsters and the substitutes. Just three minutes after the restart, 17-year-old Lamine Yamal turned from provider to scorer, collecting a pass from Fermín López and firing past the Bilbao keeper to make it 3-0.

Fermín himself got on the scoresheet shortly after, capping a dominant display with Barcelona’s third goal in the 48th minute.

Athletic Bilbao offered little resistance and finished the game with ten men after Oihan Sancet was shown a straight red card in the 54th minute for a reckless challenge.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, the visitors never looked like mounting a comeback.

In added time, Ferran Torres grabbed his second of the night—again assisted by the sensational Lamine Yamal—to round off a comprehensive 4-0 victory, sending Barcelona back to the top of the LaLiga table (pending other results this weekend).
