The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has launched its official online application portal for teaching positions, offering qualified candidates an opportunity to join Lagos State’s education workforce.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu approved the recruitment exercise, which aims to enhance quality education delivery across the state.
Eligible Qualifications and Requirements
The board is seeking candidates with NCE, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND+PGDE, BA+PGDE, and B.Sc+PGDE qualifications.
According to LASUBEB’s Executive Chairman, “This is a unique opportunity for NCE holders, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND+PGDE, BA+PGDE, and B.Sc+PGDE graduates to build a career in teaching and contribute meaningfully to qualitative service delivery in the State.”
Application Process and Documentation
Interested applicants must submit applications exclusively through https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng. Physical submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Required documents include O’Level certificates (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), degree or NCE certificates, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificates where applicable.
Importantly, notifications or statements of results issued beyond two years will not be accepted for this teaching recruitment.
LASUBEB emphasized that “the application is absolutely free” and warned applicants that no individual or group has been authorized to collect money for the exercise.
The portal closes on October 14, 2025, giving prospective teachers limited time to complete their applications.
