The Kano Independent Research Centre Trust (KIRCT) based in Kano, Nigeria, seeks the services of a qualified Communication Expert to join our team. Established in 2013 by Pfizer Inc. on behalf of the Kano State Government, KIRCT is a leading biomedical research facility dedicated to addressing key health issues in Nigeria and Africa. We are looking for an experienced communicator to develop persuasive messages, promote our cutting-edge research in genomics and clinical trials, and expand our outreach to various stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.
• Create engaging content for various channels, including press releases, articles, and social media posts.
• Manage internal and external communications, ensuring consistency in messaging.
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and stakeholders.
• Organize events, campaigns, and other communication activities to increase visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Certification in Communication Strategy or Public Relations is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, or media management.
• Proven track record in content creation, media outreach, and crisis communication.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in digital communication tools and social media platforms.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
