Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Maazi Nnamdi Kanu has been found guilty on multiple terrorism charges by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.
Maazi Nnamdi Kanu was Found Guilty on Charge one of committing acts of terrorism by making broadcasts, threatening that people would die. He was also found guilty on count two over threats on anyone who fails to observe the sit-at-home order in the Southeast.
The court also found Nnamdi Kanu guilty on count three, which relates to belonging to a proscribed organisation relying on the earlier judgement of justice Binta Nyako.
