Aradel Holdings Plc has issued a formal clarification regarding the appointment of Mr George Abiodun Osahon to its Board of Directors. The company stated he was appointed a Non-Executive Director and not an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) as earlier circulated.
In a statement to shareholders, the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX), and the investing public on Wednesday, the company explained that an error was made in its earlier announcement of July 11, 2025, which had designated Mr. Osahon as an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED).
According to the company, the error stemmed from a miscalculation of Mr. Osahon’s shareholding in Aradel Holdings Plc, which was only recently identified. In line with corporate governance standards and regulatory requirements, Aradel Holdings confirmed that Mr. Osahon will now serve as a Non-Executive Director (NED), rather than an Independent Non-Executive Director.
