Who is Andre Silva, Diogo Jota’s Brother?

André Filipe Teixeira da Silva, the younger brother of Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota was also involved in the car crash that claimed both their lives.

Andre Silva was born on April 28, 2000, in Gondomar, Portugal. Like his brother, André’s career st at Gondomar SC before joining the youth academies of FC Porto and later Paços de Ferreira.

He played primarily as an attacking midfielder but was also deployed as a left winger or centre-forward having  stints with Famalicão U23, Boavista U23, Gondomar’s senior side, and most recently, Penafiel in Portugal’s second division, where he made over 60 appearances and scored seven goals during his senior career.
