Roles and Responsibilities

You will need to:

• Analyse financial data, interpreting financial results, and evaluating profit margins
• Have experience with financial modelling and preparing detailed financial forecasts
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes and preparing cost projections
• Have a strong understanding of financial statements and capital planning for internal projects
• Monitor both economic trends and microeconomic conditions to inform strategic decisions
• Be able to develop detailed financial plans and contribute to long-term business planning
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures that support operational efficiency
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when working with sensitive financial data
• Present financial insights clearly and support decision-making across teams

Requirements

You ideally need to have:

• A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with experience in interpreting financial data and building financial models
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning
• Excellent knowledge of financial statements, profit analysis, and capital planning
• Understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic factors and their business implications
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
• Comfortable working independently in a remote role with minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Excel and/or financial software tools (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
