Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, are once again in the headlines over fresh allegations of domestic abuse.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, have had a topsy-turvy marriage initially due to their significant age difference numerous controversies including persistent rumours about Ned Nwoko’s alleged interest in other women despite having six wives.
Rumored Marriage to Chika Ike
In early 2025, speculation intensified after reports suggested that Nwoko planned to marry actress Chika Ike as his seventh wife. Regina temporarily deactivated her Instagram account, sparking rumours of marital tension.
However, Nwoko’s media office dismissed the claims as “baseless,” insisting that the politician remained focused on his public duties.
Fresh Domestic Violence Allegations
A viral video recently showed Regina Daniels appearing distressed, claiming she could “no longer endure the violence” in her marriage.
In the clip, she allegedly stated that life in Nwoko’s home had become unbearable.
Shortly after, Regina’s brother, Sammy West, took to social media accusing Nwoko of physically assaulting his sister and sending men to intimidate their family. He alleged that the businessman had “smashed her head against a wall” during one of their confrontations.
Regina is reported to have moved out of their Abuja home with her children while sources privy to the matter have continued to give different accounts of their marriage issues on social media.
