Logistics company, Trans-Nationwide Express Plc, has announced the appointment of Mrs. Oluwatosin Ogbemi as Acting Managing Director/CEO with effect from September 16, 2025 following the resignation of its Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Eric Emecheta, effective July 30, 2025.
Mrs Ogbemi holds a degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Lagos and brings a wealth of experience across corporate services, operations, and business development. She has worked closely with the former Managing Director in providing strategic leadership for the company.
She has also undertaken several executive training programmes, including “The Role of Non-Executive Directors” (Institute of Directors, 2013) and the Senior Management Programme (SMP 78, 2021) at Lagos Business School, where she is currently pursuing an Executive MBA. In addition, she is a chartered member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).
The company formally notified the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public of the leadership change, in line with regulatory requirements.
