Tony Elumelu’s HH Capital Limited Increases Transcorp Power Shares in Deal Worth N301Million

HH Capital Transcorp Power Shares

HH Capital Limited, the special purpose investment vehicle owned by Tony Elumelu, has increased its stake in Transcorp Power in a deal worth N301 million.

The company purchased 1,038,146 units of Transcorp power ordinary shares at a price of  N290.03 per share, bringing the value of the transaction to N301,093,484.

The transaction which was completed on Thursday 27th November, 2025 was revealed in a corporate disclosure on the NGX on Wednesday.

HH Capital Limited Transcorp Power Shares

In April 2023, HH Capital acquired a large block of Transcorp shares, bringing its total holding to 9,991,173,177 units representing 25.58% of Transcorp’s shares.

During the listing of Transcorp Power Plc in March 2024, HH Capital was one of the entities that acquired shares in the newly listed company. In that transaction, HH Capital acquired 560,643 shares of Transcorp Power at N290.40 per share

HH Capital, along with related parties like Heirs Holdings, owns a controlling stake of over 35% in Transcorp Holdings after HH Capital Limited announced its acquisition of 1,493,477,786 ordinary shares of Transnational Corporation Plc, representing 35.94% of the company’s shareholding in December 2024.
