TikTok Introduces New Features for Safety and Creativity

TikTok launched tools to boost safety and creativity for users with features like Family Pairing which lets parents link accounts with teens. Parents can block specific accounts to stop interactions or content visibility. When Teens make public posts, it triggers automatic notifications to parents which keeps parents informed without curbing teen creativity. Parents can view teens privacy settings like content downloads or public following lists. These tools help parents guide teens online safely.

The “Creator Care Mode” filters offensive comments for creators, blocks users whose comments are reported or deleted then the AI feature learns from creators’ actions to reduce similar comments. TikTok Live’s new tool also blocks specific words in comments. Creators can mute users using blocked words for a set time. This creates safer, friendlier comment sections for creators.

Every Creator’s Inbox has organized messages with “Unread” and “Starred” folders with set custom replies for common questions and quick replies with one-tap-send for efficiency. Chat Rooms let creators with 5,000 followers share updates.

Another feature “Content Check Lite” shows if posts qualify for the For You feed. TikTok tests Content Check for Community Guidelines compliance. These tools help creators post confidently and reach audiences.

Well-being Missions use quizzes and flashcards to promote healthy habits. Users earn badges for completing missions. TikTok builds a wellbeing experience with breathing exercises and audio tracks.
