Thousands of residents fled Tehran after 50 Israeli jets struck around 20 targets in Tehran overnight, including sites producing raw materials, components, and manufacturing systems for missiles. In the ongoing Iran Israel war, Israel told residents in a southwestern area of Tehran to evacuate so its air force could strike.

The United States also hinted at joining the bombardment of Iran, leading Iranian officials to warn that it would respond against the United States if it joined the war. The potential for an Iran Israel war could have far-reaching consequences. Concerns are rising about how an Iran Israel war might impact global politics. Meanwhile, Iranian officials caution about escalating an Iran Israel war to include other nations.

US Considering Joining the War

Social media posts from Donald Trump on Tuesday, including a demand for Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!” and a post musing about killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, increased speculation that he could bring the United States into the war.
Iranian ambassador to the United Nations in Geneva, Ali Bahreini, said they already saw the U.S. as “complicit in what Israel is doing”.
“We will not show any reluctance in defending our people, security and land – we will respond seriously and strongly, without restraint.”
