Third Oldest Jackson, Tito Is Dead

The death of Tito Jackson, brother of the late “King of Pop”, Micheal Jackson has just been announced. The cause of death is not yet known. He was a member of what is perhaps the original boy band, associated with a string of hit songs in the 1960s and 1970s. He performed as a member  the Jackson 5 alongside his brothers Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael. Micheal, the most famous of the brothers by far died in 2009.

The Jackson 5, also known as the Jackson Five, emerged as one of the most iconic pop groups of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Formed in 1964, the group was originally composed of brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael Jackson. Their infectious blend of Motown pop and soul, coupled with their energetic performances and signature choreography, quickly captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Their debut single, “I Want You Back,” released in 1969, became a number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and set the stage for a series of successful albums and chart-topping singles that defined their career.

Life After Jackson 5

After the Jackson 5 disbanded in 1975, Tito Jackson embarked on a solo career that allowed him to explore his own musical talents and interests. Although he did not achieve the same level of commercial success as some of his siblings, Tito made significant contributions to the music industry.

Tito Jackson’s Children Announced His Passing 

Tito Jackson is also survived by his brothers Jermaine, Randy, Marlon and Jackie, his sisters Janet, Rebbie and Latoya, and their mother, Katherine. Their father died in 2018.
