Nigeria’s Flutterwave, Paga, Moniepoint, MAX, others, make shortlist as Endeavour 2024 Outliers.

A leading global community of High-Impact Entrepreneurs, Endeavor, has unveiled its 2024 Endeavor Outliers, as it seeks to recognise and celebrate organisations leading innovation and scaling impact globally.

This recognition, which featured top performers within its expansive network, showcased companies described to be experiencing explosive growth.

According to a press release seen by Arbiterz correspondent, the 2024 class includes outstanding Nigeria-born founders building “thriving entrepreneurial ecosystems in emerging and underserved markets” as Nigeria.

Industry analysts observe that this recognition marks the beginning of the journey for these Nigerian innovators, as the Outliers’ program, expected to span a year, aims to empower selected businesses.

The initiative offers participants access to essential resources, including mentorship from industry veterans, and opportunities to connect with other leaders.

Nigeria’s entrepreneurial scene continues to flourish as several talented founders were recognized in the 2024 Endeavor Outliers class.

From fintech pioneers like Olugbenga Agboola and Ife Orioke of Flutterwave to Tayo Oviosu and Jay Alabraba at Paga, the shortlist particularly recognises these individuals as agents revolutionizing the financial landscape.

Similarly, Tosin Eniolorunda and Felix Ike (Moniepoint) and Tayo Bamiduro and Chinedu Azodoh (MAX) made the list for transforming access to financial services and transportation.

While the impact extends beyond individual companies, the Vendease team, led by Tunde Kara, Wale Oyepeju, Olumide Fayankin, and Gatumi Aliyu, were featured for playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of e-commerce.

Analysts further observed that while these visionary Nigerian founders are not only building impactful businesses, their achievements continues to solidify Nigeria’s position as a hub for innovation on the African continent.

The opportunity is expected to open the selected founders to connect and be mentored by successful tech company executives, as they in turn become powerful role models to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs across their communities.
