Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio monitoring and fund analytics initiatives at Stears
- Analyze and standardize fund reports, company financials, and performance benchmarks
- Convert inconsistent reporting into repeatable and scalable analytics frameworks
- Apply strong investment judgment to AI-assisted workflows
- Collaborate with data teams to improve analytics systems and outputs
- Act as a subject-matter expert across private markets and portfolio data
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5+ years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, or private markets
- Strong exposure to African markets
- Deep understanding of fund reporting, portfolio monitoring, and benchmarking
- Comfortable working with structured and unstructured financial data
- Curious about LLMs and low-code AI tools, with willingness to learn (training provided)
